These are the scans of my storyboard. I decided to use a standard from 2nd grade Health Education: Standard 1, Objective 1: Explain the importance of a balanced diet.

Web 2.0 and beyond

There are a lot of cool internet tools available for use in the Elementary classroom. I really had no idea that there was such a broad range of tools at my disposal. Creating this Wiki was fun. I definitely want to use this in my classroom instruction. It's so easy to post pictures and embed files. Web 2.0 is great because it allows students to have an active part in their education using the internet. I think that the most difficult thing that I did was the Wiki. It took a long time but it was fun. I think that it was also the most important thing that I did. I really think that I will use a Wiki in my classroom instruction.

Why I like education

There is something magical about discovering something new for the first time. I want to help kids make those discoveries and see the wonder in their eyes. That's why I want to be a teacher.
